What We Know About the 2023 Dodge Durango
The 2023 Dodge Durango is coming, and it’s bringing back its most powerful engine ever for a new model year. It’s not available at Woodhouse Chrysler Jeep® Dodge RAM Blair, but this new SUV is in the works. There is plenty that a Dodge Durango dealer can tell you about this new model.
Engine Options
So far, we know that most of the 2022 model’s engine options will carry over. A Pentastar® V6 engine will continue to be the standard option. Its output of 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque enables the Dodge Durango to tow up to 6,200 pounds.
Drivers who want more power can opt for a 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine, which ups the output to 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque. This engine could be in limited supply for the 2023 model year though.
Then there’s the SRT model’s 6.4-liter supercharged HEMI® V8 engine, which produces 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. That should up the towing capacity of the 2023 Dodge Durango to 8,700 pounds.
Finally, there’s the Hellcat model with its 6.2-liter V8 engine. This was available in just 3,000 models in 2021 and was not available in 2022, so if you’re interested in a 2023 Dodge Durango with an output of over 700 horsepower you may want to place an order soon!
Hellcat Upgrades
The Hellcat model will also have some exclusive design touches and features. The interior offers leather and suede-covered sports seats, red-accented gauges, and a unique digital instrument cluster. You can also add upgrades like a premium 19-speaker sound system and carbon-fiber interior trim.
As for the other models, expect many of your favorite technologies, driver assistance features, and seating for seven to carry over to this 2023 Dodge SUV.
